Service on Site

CWRG logoThe 2016 Service on Site project partnered with the Combined Women’s Refuge Group to support women’s shelters for victims of domestic violence. 

Clubs/Members supported this year's Service on Site Project filled "Buckets of Love" with donated items: 
Lightweight women’s night wear; Children’s pyjamas, including teen sizes; Children’s books, games and puzzles; and Diaries/Journals. Other much needed donations included: Gift Cards for women to use when they first arrive at the Refuge.

One Million StarsAs part of the One Million Stars to End Violence Project, Quotarians donated 4,723 hand-woven stars, that were delivered in bundles of 10 to the Commonwealth Games Office in Brisbane for use in 2018.
